Reset Notes

I spent most of my life trying to hide my sweat. Then I decided to do something about it.

I spent most of my life trying to hide my sweat. Then I decided to do something about it.

I've dealt with excessive sweating for as long as I can remember.

One of my earliest memories is from when I was about seven years old. I was taking an exam at school when the paper tore under my hand because of how much I was sweating. My teacher called me over, handed me some paper towels, and suggested I always bring a hand towel to school for exams.

I remember feeling so embarrassed, but also so grateful to her.

At that age, I thought I was the only one. None of my friends seemed to have this problem. And as I got older, it became something I learned to quietly work around.

As a teenager, I avoided holding hands with boys. I wore closed-toe shoes instead of sandals and learned to keep my socks on when visiting someone's house. Before job interviews, I would hold a napkin in my hand until the very last second before a handshake.

At my own wedding, I specifically asked to dance only with my husband so I wouldn't have to hold hands with all the guests.

These might sound like small things, but when you spend your life making decisions around something you're embarrassed about, it takes up more space than you realize.

Eventually, I decided to seek medical help.

I tried prescription antiperspirants that I had to apply at night and wash off in the morning. They irritated my skin, stained my clothes, and were inconvenient to use. I tried prescription wipes, but stopped after experiencing blurred vision. I even considered Botox, until I learned it would mean multiple injections and repeating the treatment every few months.

Everything seemed focused on stopping the sweat itself.

So I kept doing what I had always done. Carrying tissues, hiding my hands, avoiding certain situations, and finding ways to make sure nobody noticed.

Then something changed.

After becoming a mom, I started paying more attention to my health and overall well-being. I wanted to feel my best, for myself and for my children.

I began researching excessive sweating and finally learned more about hyperhidrosis. But the more I paid attention to my own experience, the more I noticed a pattern.

My sweating was almost always worse when I felt anxious, nervous, or stressed. And sometimes, just anticipating that I might sweat was enough to make it happen, and make it worse.

It was a vicious cycle. I'd worry about sweating, start sweating, and then worry even more because I was sweating.

That realization changed the way I thought about everything.

What if, instead of trying to stop the sweat, I could address the stress response triggering it?

Around the same time, I had started incorporating supplements into my wellness routine. I began wondering whether there could be a supplement specifically designed for stress-triggered sweating.

I looked, but I couldn't find what I was looking for.

So I decided to create it.

After a year of research, development, and countless formula iterations, Equaia was born.

Our first product, Stress Sweat Reset, is a daily vegan gummy supplement formulated with premium, clinically studied botanical extracts and minerals selected to support the nervous system and the body's response to stress.*

Instead of blocking the sweat glands, our approach focuses on supporting the stress response that can trigger sweating in the first place.*

Target the trigger, not the symptom.

And because I knew firsthand how inconvenient traditional solutions could be, I wanted something that felt easy to incorporate into everyday life. No messy applications, no uncomfortable treatments. Just two gummies a day.

When I began testing the formula myself and noticed a difference after my first 30 days, it was an incredibly meaningful moment. After spending so many years looking for answers, I finally felt like I was onto something.

But Equaia has become about so much more than my own experience.

For years, I thought I was alone. I felt embarrassed by something I couldn't control, and I let it influence how I dressed, how I interacted with people, and how I experienced some of life's most important moments.

I know now that I'm far from the only one.

I created Equaia for everyone who has ever hidden their hands, carried a towel in their purse, avoided a handshake, or spent an entire conversation worrying that someone might notice their sweat.

My hope is that we can change the conversation around stress sweat, and help people feel more comfortable, more confident in their own skin, and more in control of their everyday lives.

Because nobody should have to spend so much time thinking about sweat.

Less time worrying about sweat. More time for what matters.

And if any part of my story feels familiar, I want you to know you're not alone anymore.

Welcome to Equaia. You've found your people.
